Sooper Credit Union is Hiring a Business Applications Manager Near ARVADA, CO

Description

The Business Applications Manager is a leadership position in the Information Technology Department and is responsible for the management of the core banking platform, connected systems and staff development. Responsible for core banking related applications including document imaging, vendor integration and instant card issuance. As the product owner, this individual will work with internal and 3rd party developers to continually improve employee and member experiences. Works closely with the VP of IT to ensure systems align with and support the credit union’s strategic goals, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.

Requirements

  • Leads the planning, design, and implementation of the core banking system and connected business applications. Drives continuous improvement to enhance existing applications. Works in collaboration with internal and third-party development to continuously improve systems efficiency, feature set and user experience.
  • Act as the product owner for the core financial systems, overseeing all aspects of their lifecycle from conception through deployment, including requirements gathering, prioritization, release management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery, scope engagements, and drive innovation.
  • Supports team development and contributes to the leadership of the Information Technology department. Develops relationships and demonstrates ownership in process improvement and technology delivery.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience. 
  • One to three years of experience in management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/related field or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience.
  • Previous experience with financial institutions.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting annual pay of $90,235.54 annually, depending on experience, education and qualifications.
